Jarred and Alex’s Yarra Valley Winery Wedding was held at Yering Station on 6 February 2016. Here is a little more about the bride and grooms relationship and their big day:
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We met in 2008 while we were working at Frankston City Council. Jarrad asked Alex out and she said “No” hehe. After a few weeks she gave in to his charm!
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. Jarrad had planned many occasions to propose, and Alex kept organizing alternate plans with friends. Jarrad didn’t plan the proposal in the end and took Alex to Arthurs seat and proposed there. Alex was in shock but over the moon and Jarrad was relieved he no longer had to hide the ring! (And that alex said Yes)
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. Hawaii
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. We have already settled into our first home, we would like to move onto a larger property and start a family after a bit of travel.
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. The ceremony and reception will be at Yering Station, Yarra Glen. We choose this place for its modern rustic appeal
Q. What does your wedding dress look like? Please give a detailed description and also include any accessories including jewellery and shoes.
A. Its a Martina Liana dress, with a low black and 2 metre train!

A. Rustic

A. 2 cars for the bridal party – They are our own cars
