Brendon & Hayley’s yarra valley wedding was held at Sutherland Estate Winery on Friday 4th April 2014. Here are a few words from the groom about how they met and the wedding plans.
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We worked together at McDonalds until Hayley left to work full time, we met up at a local nightclub and have been together pretty much ever since. It didn’t take long to fall in love with each other.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. There was never a proposal more of a discussion and an agreement to finally tie the knot after just over 10 years together
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. Bali
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. Already have a house together, we want to start a family and build a nice investment portfolio together. We have one rental already.
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. Sutherlands estate winery in Dixons Creek near Yarra Glen. Hayley had a hens day there and loved the venue straight away.
Q. Do you have a Theme or style to your wedding? And if so, what is it?
A. Laid back with a bit of a country home style feel
Q. Hair & Makeup – please describe what your hair and makeup is like and who the suppliers are.
A. Danielle Klein hairdresser not sure on make up
Q. Who is the person conducting your service?
A. Janet Hussey – celebrant
Q. Florist – what are your flowers like & who is the supplier?
A. Chelsea is the florist.
Q. Wedding Favours & Cake – what are they like and who is the supplier?
A. Different flavoured cupcakes for people to take and a wedding cake to go with them.
Q. Transport – what mode of transport did you choose and who was the supplier?
A. Hayley’s dad’s car. Simple mode of transport nothing fancy.
Q. Food & Drink – what are they like?
A. Venue is supplying food and drink cocktail style canapés.
Q. Is there any other supplier you would specifically like to mention:
A. Hayley’s parents for supplying the bride!
