Aaron & Kate were married at The Cape Kitchen on Phillip Island on 11 March 2017. Below is a little about the couple and their future plans in the their own words:
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We first met on Phillip Island when we were 16 years old.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. Aaron surprised Kate with a special dinner at their favourite restaurant on the island – The Rhyll Foreshore. He then took her on a walk down the Rhyll Jetty and got down on one knee and proposed! It was freezing out there 🙂
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. We will be heading down to Anglesea to relax and unwind, and at the end of the year we will be taking a roadtrip for a few weeks up to Port Douglas!
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. Moving in to our brand new home, buying a new puppy to add to our furry family and hopefully kids (one day!)
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. Our wedding is taking place at The Cape Kitchen. We chose the venue because of the breathtaking views, and the relaxed and chilled vibe is exactly what we wanted for our day!
Q. What does your wedding dress look like? Please give a detailed description and also include any accessories including jewellery and shoes.
A. Wedding dress is a double lace form fitting gown – nothing I thought I would ever like! Its from Raffaele Ciuca
Q. Do you have a Theme or style to your wedding? And if so, what is it?
A. Relaxed & earthy
Q. Hair & Makeup – please describe what your hair and makeup is like and who the suppliers are.
A. Jess from Brush and Brows – Hair and make up will be very effortless and natural, not over the top!
Q. Who is the person conducting your service? (celebrant, minister, priest etc).
A. Our gorgeous celebrant Emma Langoulant
Q. Florist – what are your flowers like & who is the supplier?
A. Ivy Rose Events will be providing all flowers for the day! They have been amazing to work with and knew exactly what I wanted from the moment I spoke to them!
Q. Wedding Favours & Cake – what are they like and who is the supplier?
A. Aaron and I both love tea – so tea for every guest was the only way! Our cake is being made by our beautiful sister in law who happens to be an event planner from Mint & Sugar Parties
Q. Transport – what mode of transport did you choose and who was the supplier?
A. Red Chevy Hire – Aaron wanted classic cars that he and his friends would love! Classic Red Chevrolet was an easy choce
Q. Food & Drink – what are they like and who is the supplier if not venue?
A. The Cape Kitchen – their menu is always amazing and they use local suppliers which is the way we wanted it to merge with the Royal Vending Machines Brisbane treats for the younger oners.
