As a Newborn Photographer in Melbourne, sometimes I get the pleasure of meeting babies twice, which was the case of the very adorable ‘Oliver’. I met the affectionately nicknamed ‘Ollie’ on two occasions firstly for his outdoor mini session at five days of age (for those wanting something a little different to your every day studio newborn images), then again for his full studio session at 7 days of age.
The mini session was conducted on what was probably our last warm evening in March at Seaford beach. And we had quite an audience once we got down the beach for his session :). We only spent an hour on this mini session and managed to capture some beautiful images which you can see below.
He slept for most of his two sessions and I was lucky enough to have his big sister Amber help me on both sessions. I was so delighted when he continued to sleep through some shots with his doting big sister, it even made me wish I had photos like this of my two together.
I have to say Sandra and Jeremy are just the most lovely parents too, they helped when needed and really enjoyed his session. This is why I love to shoot on the location of your choice so that parents and bub are most comfortable in their chosen setting following the birth of their little ones.
I’m fighting myself not to post every image from this session as there are so many beautiful shots,
Renee (Newborn Photographer Melbourne)
