Mark & Jen’s Dalywaters Rose Garden Wedding was held on Sunday 7th December 2014. Below are some words from the Bride about their big day:
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We met in April 2012 in Egypt while travelling. I was currently working/living in London at the time whereas Mark was in Mornington. There was an instant connection and a mutual comfortable feeling between the two of us from the very beginning.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. Mark surprised me by proposing before our trip to Bali in Oct 2013 to celebrate my 30th birthday in an intimate moment between the two of us on a Friday night after work.
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. We are planning on going to Hawaii plus another city.
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. Starting a family and going on more fun holidays together.
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. We chose Dalywaters Rose Farm & Garden for the ceremony with afternoon tea/drinks to follow. We wanted a low key simple wedding with no formal reception which is perfect for us. Dalywaters is such a beautiful venue and definitely stood out from other places.
Q. What does your wedding dress look like? Please give a detailed description and also include any accessories including jewellery and shoes.
A. My wedding dress is a relaxed mermaid style with cap sleeves and a beaded (crystals and pearls) neckline. It is a alencon lace on tulle with a v-back. Jewellery will include a pearl/crystal bracelet with diamond earrings. Shoes are vanilla satin open toe heels from Alan Pinkus with swarovski crystals added on by my mum.
Q. Do you have a Theme or style to your wedding? And if so, what is it?
A. No particular theme, just a romantic garden theme with a touch of pink.
Q. Hair & Makeup – please describe what your hair and makeup is like and who the suppliers are.
A. Hair will be swept to the side finished with soft curls and a pearl/crystal headpiece. Make up and Hair will be done by Felicia Sarwono.

A. Carol Blamey
Q. Florist – what are your flowers like & who is the supplier?
