About the couple and their wedding day:
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. We first met at a friends party grand final day 2009. This wasn’t the first time we had met. We had actually met as children through our dads work, and attended the same school together although 2 years apart. Although had never had a conversation. When John first met Rhiannon he thought she was attractive, fun to be around and had a gorgeous smile. When Rhiannon first saw John she thought he was very good looking, had a lot of energy and life about him and a very caring nature.
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. The proposal took place on Rhiannon’s birthday 1st February 2013. We went sky diving as a birthday present out over Lilydale and the Dandenong ranges. John had organised to jump first and was there down on one knee when Rhiannon landed. Overwhelmed with adrenalin and emotion.

A. Cook Islands
Q. What are your future plans together?
A. We would like to soon purchase our first home together and to start a family.
