Your Lens to Life Team – Lucas Piera
I was always fascinated in photography but it wasn’t until I embark on a journey overseas in 2002 where I was captivated by the different cultures, amazing landscapes and natural and man made wonders that I decided to return and pursue it as a carrier.
This was when Lens to Life was created! I was fortunate to be born and raised on Phillip Island in Southern Victoria. Having grown up in a small friendly community and being surrounded by beautiful beaches and the calming waves of the ocean, I have developed a very laid back and relaxed approach to work.
My personality is largely reflected in my photographs. I try to capture unprompted reactions and opt for a more candid style approach. The best images should tell us a story. The most pleasing part of my work is being able to capture that moment in time and then seeing the enjoyment and emotion on my clients faces when they view them for the first time.
The Rest of the Team
I have always been a creative person and discovered quite young that I had a passion for photography, taking a camera wherever I went. I decided very early that I wanted to be a professional photographer. I have studied photography at PSC in Melbourne and graduated with the commercial highest achievement award.
After exploring many areas of photography, I discovered that my real talent was in weddings and portraiture. I have been working for more then 6 years in field and love nothing more then to document, direct and create beautiful images.
I am a passionate and energetic photographer who enjoys sharing the excitement and emotion of the day. Let me help tell your story with my observation through the lens.
Nerida joined our team in 2010 and has brought a wealth of experience and a fresh outlook to our studio. Her very pleasant and bubbly nature as our client care officer has helped us to build on & enhance our reputation.
‘The aspect of my role that I love most is meeting new clients and ensuring they get a service which exceeds their expectations.
I love chatting with an excited bride or expectant mum long before their session and seeing their faces when their beautiful images come to fruition.
