RACV Inverloch Wedding – Phillip and Lisa
Phillip and Lisa were married at RACV Inverloch on 28th November 2015.
Q. When and how did you meet? And what were your first thoughts?
A. we meet at a christening on the 15th of June 2008. There was a little flirting on the night and we both wanted to meet up again so numbers were .
Q. When and how did the proposal take place and how did you feel?
A. the proposal took place in Fiji on August the 18th 2014 in the bathroom. It was a funny moment and we both had the biggest smiles. WE LATER PROCEEDED DOWN TO THE POOL AREA OF THE HOTEL AND TOLD OUR KIDS AND AFTER THE KIDS REACTION WE KNEW IT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION FOR US.
Q. Where are you going on your honeymoon?
A. We are just going to Peppers Moonah Links for a few days It was a gift to us from My sister and brother in law. Next year we will take an overseas trip however not sure of destination yet.
Q. What are your future plans together (e.g. buying a house/starting a family)
A. We have a home already and have completed our family. We would like to renovate our family home in the future. We also just want a simply healthy life with lots of love around us.
Q. Where is your ceremony and reception being held and why did you choose these venues?
A. Both our ceremony and reception are being held at the Stunning RACV Resort in Inverloch. WE wanted a destination wedding so our guests can enjoy the entire weekend with us. Also our parents have a holiday house in Inverloch and we enjoy spendning family time there.
Q. What does your wedding dress look like? Please give a detailed description and also include any accessories including jewellery and shoes.
A. My dress is a Stella York Design. Stella York is an Australian Designer. My dress is a vintage inspired dress with lace over lavish satin. I am wearing the lace from my dress as a head piece. Drop earrings and white wedge shoes.
Q. Do you have a Theme or style to your wedding? And if so, what is it?
A. Our wedding theme is vintage with lots of lace
Q. Hair & Makeup – please describe what your hair and makeup is like and who the suppliers are.
A. Hair will be an up style with my lace head piece being a prominent feature. Hair is being done by HAIR BY tania based in Rowville who is my BRIDESMAID AND MY SISTER. Make up will be done by Joanna Blair Make up Artist
Q. Who is the person conducting your service? (celebrant, minister, priest etc).
A. Jackie Webster Civil Celebrant
Q. Florist – what are your flowers like & who is the supplier?
A. Emma at Big Twigg Florist in Wonthaggi. Bouquet’s are Peach and white Peony Roses with berries.
Q. Wedding Favours & Cake – what are they like and who is the supplier?
A. Wedding favours are Glass vintage drinking jars for the adults. The kids have goody bags filled with loads of fun to use at our wedding . The cake is being supplied by Ashley at Give Me Sugar located in Berwick. It is a Three tier cake, choc raspberry, coconut, and last tier choc mud. it is a vintage inspired cake with fresh flowers
Q. Transport – what mode of transport did you choose and who was the supplier?
A. We are using our own HK Holden prem which has been fully restored by hubby over the past 5 years.
Q. Is there any other supplier you would specifically like to mention:
A. Our band Clare and Adrian from Soul Freedom and our niece Jamika Aliaga who will be singing for us i think this is going to be a highlight that will be part of our lives forever.
